CIB Oversight & Control Cross Border Associate

The CIB Cross Border Program is responsible for developing formal and consistent Cross Border processes and controls across the CIB business related to the Banks international activities These processes need to ensure that activities are consistent with global requirements and minimum corporate standards, and in compliance with local law, rules and regulations This is a Firm wide initiative which has a Wholesale component that entails establishing a Global Cross Border framework which includes a library of country specific rules, control processes, monitoring processes and technology solutions designed to identify and mitigate Cross Border risk in the distribution of products and services These procedures will ensure that activities are consistent with global requirements and in compliance with local laws, rules and regulations

Key Responsibilities

Support the Global Program manager with the delivery of

Daily, weekly and monthly Travel reporting

Creation of monthly MIS and Governance material including analysis and cleansing

Complete testing and monitoring of required processes and provide summary feedback to Program team

Support the implementation of Control Framework

Creation of reference data including maintenance and cleansing

Drive progress through effective escalation of issues and concerns

RCSA Testing

Required skill Set

Analytical with good problem-solving skills

Good communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various levels of management

Function effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and should be able to prioritize ones own work to achieve them

Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications

Flexibility to work global hours

Ability to adapt to a changing environment

Ability to multi-task, identify priority issues and excellent execution style

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Process improvement experience


Any Bachelor degree with 5 years of work experience Experience in Banking Risk & Control domain will be an added advantage
