Job Description:

Educational Qualifications Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream (MBA will be an advantage) Experience Overall 20 years of experience Minimum 10 years in real estate industry and 15 years in a Management role Key Competencies Knowledge of Managing industry associations Knowledge of the Real Estate industry trends, regulatory environment and market dynamics Strategic Orientation, Financial & Business Acumen, Interpersonal skills 1 Supervise the activities of the Secretariat, setting the direction for both, the operations as well as the revenue-generating roles 2 Facilitate coordination and execution excellence amongst key roles like Member Management, Events Management, Public Relations and Liaison 3 Act as the accountable point of contact for the Managing Committee on all matters 4 Ensure smooth coordination between the Managing Committee and the various functions of the Secretariat to ensure that the Committee is relieved of all routine tasks 5 Direct the annual functional strategy of the Organisation ensuring alignment with the goals and the best interests of the members 6 Enhance profitability and increase revenue from existing and new streams, in coordination with the Events Management and Sales roles 7 Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, and ensure allocation of funds within budgetary constraints 8 Ensure that all initiatives of Client are motivated towards adding value to the overall member experience 9 Lead and sign off on feasibility studies to explore new value-added services for members to boost their profitability 10 Build rapports with key stakeholders at government and regulatory agencies to strengthen the position of Client 11 Maintain and enhance the brand equity of Real Estate Industry by acting as a representative at prominent forums and platforms 12 Establish SOPs and ensure that day-to-day activities are being carried out in a cost-efficient manner 13 Ensure streamlining of processes and efficient performance across all units (eg Thane, Navi Mumbai, etc) 14 Lead the exploration of new, innovative revenue streams like sub-unit conferences & trainings in order to increase revenue 15 Focus on cost efficiency and improved profitability in all events 16 Lead the development of specialized training programmes for members employees at all levels in line with industry trends, market insights and the latest technology used world-wide 17 Oversee performance reviews, capability building and monitoring of employee satisfaction to ensure high levels of efficiency and growth within the Secretariat 18 Sign off on key internal matrices for service delivery in coordination with the Head- Operations 19 Ensure compliance to regulatory norms and oversee vendor relations and inventory management to minimize costs
