Job Description:

Position Description
Lenovo is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our field sales team covering Lenovo Channel Resellers This position would be focused primarily on sales via these partners to Commercial Enterprise, SMB and Education Customers The position requires traveling throughout the territory and meeting with leadership and sales teams of the partners in your book of accounts The position also requires managing Quarterly Business Reviews and development of annual plans The goal is to increase Lenovos Share of Wallet within these partners by educating and training their sellers on our full suite of products and services

Position Requirements
Below is a list of key activities and skills that this person would need to possess strong proficiency in

Sales Activities
Daily engagement with Partner sales & product marketing organizations
Driving opportunities to expand Lenovos business in the Enterprise, SMB and Education segments, along with building strong relationships between our collective end-user sales teams
Managing weekly pipeline opportunities with the rest of the team
Building key strategic relationships with sales leaders from C level on down and interlocking with them on selling strategies
Motivation of both Lenovo and Partner sales & sales support teams to positively impact sales
Willing to travel to other locations to build same level of engagement
Present to customers on behalf of Lenovo & Partner

Marketing Activities
Create new ideas on how Lenovo can maximize our ROI
Drive Qtrly Business Reviews (QBRs) to be forward looking so we can focus on what is working and what is not
Work with extended teams at Lenovo and Partner to create qtrly Go to Market plans in each of the segments
Create event schedules that can be communicated out to the sales force

Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Presentation skills for both partner and customer
Manager/Director level communication on regular basis
Polished and effective at getting message across
Must communicate across functions and teams to deliver simple effective messages

Financial Management
Manage a budget and communicate/collaborate with Partners as required
Understand and leverage key sales programs and communicate with Partners on these
Engage appropriate Lenovo teams where necessary to own key relationships with Partners
