In this climate of increasing, constant complexity and technology change, supporting the future vision for the BT Technology team and how we need to change as an organisation to deliver against the technology strategy for BT Group is an important role

To convert this into change we need develop the programme of organisational change for the future of BT Technology this includes pulling together the transformation leads across the business and owning a BT Technology strategic performance dashboard to be confident we are having the desired impact across the business

Given the rate of change, all of this needs to come together in a strategic planning process that is simple, adaptive and integrated including the scorecard, Quarterly business reviews and pan-BT Technology planning There will be programmes that need to be driven centrally through a definition stage to ensure the scope and set up meet the wider desired outcomes

None of this matters without strong engagement in the future vision and strategy across the organisation We need to work with other areas of BT Technology & HR to gather inputs, collaborate and develop events and communication plans for pan-unit for engagement and drive confidence in our plans

What youll be doing

Contributing to strategy development process
Contributing on an element of the business strategic planning process or strategic portfolio
Significantly contributing to the delivery of the strategic portfolio
Supporting the delivery of the strategic dashboard joined up with current transformation performance
Building engagement in key elements of the strategy making it clear and personal
Contributing to quarterly business review to BT Group on behalf of the LT
Manage the BT Technology Scorecard with Finance
Providing ad-hoc support on complex analysis, studies and presentations for the leadership team, ensuring they are current, factual and accurate
Clear in-year delivery plan against our strategy
Portfolio management of in-year transformation to identify gaps and opportunities
Managing the consumption of change and capture benefits/cost impact on BT Technology

Well also need to see these on your CV

Strong capability in engaging and building partnerships with stakeholders at all levels across BT to shape and agree strategic change
Good understanding of concepts, procedures and application of project management and an extensive knowledge of strategic tools
Expert communication skills at all levels from MD to engineers
Demonstrable experience and capability in the delivery of projects requiring the creation project teams with multiple elements on a cross discipline and/or multi supplier basis
Expert in change management across large populations using a range of styles and approaches adapted to the audience
