The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the consumer portfolio planning for all product lines across notebook & desktop through the lifecycle management of existing products & services as well as creating and integrating new products and product changes The incumbent will also be responsible for managing execution of quarterly campaigns

Responsibilities of the position
Mid-term (6-9 month s) product portfolio planning management across product categories (DT, NB) including deciding the pricing strategy
Collaborating with AP & BU Teams to ensure effective portfolio readiness for Asia Pacific & SLBD based on market intelligence & on-ground competition portfolio analysis
Analyzing and understanding consumer profile, RTMs , Trade & competitive dynamics & landscape
Ensuring portfolio certification readiness based on Asia Pacific policy requirements (BIS etc)
Work with relevant internal stakeholders to help to design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions
4P integration
In-depth understanding & analysis of subscribed market Intelligence reports to shape an effective portfolio for Asia Pacific
Product championship, training and Sales Enablement to internal as well as external teams
Assist the product team to drive qualitative business health parameters such as mix, Industry differentiator / first to market product offerings
Managing relationship with alliance partners for annual alignment and fund management

Position Requirements
Must Have Bachelors degree in business/ marketing/ engineering
Desired MBA
Overall 8 years experience across product management (minimum 3 years) & sales
Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills business cases, margin and cash flow analysis;
Project management skills; Group facilitation skills; Analytical skills; Problem solving skills;
Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation;
Stakeholder management
Entrepreneurial Skills
The person should be passionate and willing to work in a entrepreneurial, collaborative & limited information environment which is highly dynamic
Ability to articulate strategy and plans clearly to stakeholders
