Reporting to the Materials Management Director, the Business Systems Manager for the Collins Landing Systems Oakville site will be responsible for SAP Data integrity & Inventory Planning and key operations reporting

Primary Responsibilities

Inventory Control - implement and ensure inventory transactional disciplines are in place to manage the proper movement of goods from demand entry, goods receipt, and shipment Champion, measure, and drive inventory accuracy and reduction in the attainment of inventory reduction goals and targets
Lean Manufacturing -- responsible to ensure lean principles are applied to part flow and all other material management activities
Leadership - Provide leadership to Materials Management and Operations Planning employees and team members Ensure they are engaged, trained and contribute to the success of the site
Operations Reporting -- responsible for SOT, OTD, Productivity, Inventory, and all other applicable shop reporting activities
Coordinate the planned part changes with all stakeholders
Create, amend and maintain SAP master data in line with agreed guidelines
Generate robust process to monitor the health of SAP
Identify the root causes corrective actions plan for the SAP health deviations and train the relavent stakeholders
Work with Manufacturing Engineers & Engineering teams to maintain the BOMs in SAP
Develop and perform a robust master data governance process
Set-up SAP master data in line with agreed PFEP settings
Generate daily, weekly and monthly SAP health reports
Work with relevant stakeholders and drive the actions to keep the SAP data healthy
Define and implement the AIM maturity plan for Master Data
Develop standard works and procedures to comply with corporate guidelines
Define a robust master data change process to streamline the demand flexuations to suppliers
Lead the implementation of Effective Material Planning (EMP)
Relentless Root Cause Corrective Actions to demonstrate the turnbacks reduction on all activities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree, preferably in a logistics, business, or supply chain management discipline
10-15 years experience in Material Planning, including a minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing environment and 5 years at a management level
5 -- 10 years of strong Lean Manufacturing experience
SAP Business Systems is an asset
Working knowledge of inventory control analysis and production control techniques and management thereof
Experience in the development and management of Kanbans, supermarkets, bus schedules and vendor managed inventory
Thorough understanding of supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow, and working capital)
Strong ability to work both in a management oversight capacity and in detailed hands-on system capacity Experience with managing and developing dotted-line relationship
