The CM Professional Services Analyst works with the Capital Markets PS Operations team to provide tools and systems support to the Professional Services team with focus on standardization, automation/efficiencies, metrics and KPIs, value-add reporting and analysis resulting in positive business outcomes

Roles & Responsibilities

Aligned with a PS business, act as a single point of contact for the PS Lead, PMs and relevant functions outside of PS
Provide business intelligence on the reporting output to provide meaningful business analysis; bringing together all elements of data to tell a comprehensive story
Understanding the business strategy, in order to deliver insight and recommendations based off the data; foresee any possible issues, highlighting to relevant parties and taking ownership to assist any required actions
Oversight and control over all internal operations within the PS business (eg project data, employee data, invoicing and billing logistics, relationship with financial and accounting teams)
Authority to seek remediation actions and answers from the relevant internal parties
Help enable the successful attainment of CM PS business and financial objectives
Assist in planning and executing the transformation to a consistent operating model, including standards and best practices, across CM for the PS Operations team
Work with PS Leaders and PS Operations team to drive improvement on internal processes and efficiencies, with direction from both the business operations line and the PS business line
Participate in definition, documentation and rollout of CM Standards and Best Practices alongside tool requirements, design and rollout
Oversight over, and strong collaboration with, the PS Operations Support representative aiming to decrease non-billable effort required throughout the PS community
Alongside PS Operations Support representative, monitor ongoing compliance to provide oversight as well as drive data remediation
Participate in planning and execution of Solution Delivery objectives and priorities, as related to PS Operations

Required Skills/Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in Professional Services and/or Professional Services Operations
Knowledge of back-end operations of a Professional Services business (eg project data, invoicing and billing, revenue recognition)
Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to audiences at various levels in the organization (eg executives, management, individual contributors)
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft and Oracle Suites, Planview preferred
Independent, proactive, and self-motivated
