Thirdwatch, an AI powered solution helps online merchants screen their orders for anomalies that result in incidents of operational and fraud losses One of the major issues the solution is going to attack is that of product return fraud which today constitutes 30 PERCENT of delivery operations cost for the merchants

Return fraud occurs when a product sold by an e-commerce seller is returned by the customer by misusing its return policy A return is initiated by the consumer, however, the seller receives a used, fake or even no product at all in return E-commerce businesses in India are constantly subjected to return frauds as online shopping platforms have made it extremely easy for the consumer to return the product E-commerce sellers are often oblivious that they are falling victim to such frauds

Fraud is bad for the whole ecosystem and due to that most of the time merchants have to shut their online businesses This problem cant be solved by putting static rules, a solution has to be one step ahead of fraudsters

So we are creating a platform for fraud prevention which is using AI and big data to fight fraud in real time Currently, we have started with E-commerce RTO fraud but we have the vision to cover all other online industries like travel, banking, food delivery, etc

And yes this is an international product and well start exploring other markets ASAP well reach three digits merchant count on platform

In Thirdwatch team we follow the same philosophy of Razorpay work hard and party hard Last month we had 2-3 parties, worked on weekends and pushed hard to launch our first version inside Razorpay Even we are planning a team outing, Where we will solve a problem too )

Business Development / Management

Roles and Responsibilities

Engaging in new Customer Acquisition
Work with the current Direct Sales, Key Accounts, Growth & SME Team to drive the TPV targets
Ensuring maximum lead conversions from various Inbound channels
Preparing short-term and long-term sales plan, sales approaches and strategies
Being constantly on your toes and achieve the revenue targets in line with the team/organizational objectives
Account Management for P0 Clients
Market Research and Creating Feedback Loop
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain a deep understanding of the product and speak with customers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs
Manage customer expectations through cross-functional interactions and ensuring that the deliverables are completed
Understand the customer requirements and communicate the same with the product manager

Desired Skills and Experience

4-6 years of work experience
Ability to work in an early-stage startup-like chaotic environment
Strong client management skills, especially crisis management
Self driven with an ability to work independently without requiring day-to-day guidance
Strong Oral & Written communication skills
Basics of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Basic understanding of any CRM tool
Proven experience in customer-facing roles Should have worked with customers in managing customer requirements and engaging in solution selling
Able to engage in a technical conversation with the customer to understand their requirements
A result-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
Knowledge of simple data query writings will be an advantage
