Job Summary

Focus on building programs to drive success of NetApp Renewals business, while providing analysis on core renewals KPIs As an expert business analyst, you will focus on identifying and assessing gaps related to renewals business You will use your expertise to build and model sales incentives, assess renewal programs performance, and Forecast renewals bookings In parallel, you will provide data analysis and provide insight on the nuances of NetApp renewal business to senior leadership As a member of the team you will work with cross-functional teams from various organizations within NetApp to drive the overall success of renewals programs This is a challenging position with the opportunity to directly impact the effectiveness and success of the sales organization

Essential Functions

Support the sales strategy through detailed historical analysis and modeling future trends showing what levers influence those trends
Run various ad hoc analysis of key sales data including productivity, pipeline, forecasting, rep performance, territory planning, etc to support sales strategic initiative decision making
Work cross-functionally with key GTM partners (eg Marketing, Channel, Field Sales, Renewal Sales), with program managers and other analysts to provide metric driven insights and drive initiative implementation and design
Provides information and analysis essential for sales planning and strategy development
Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc, to groups within the sales and sales operations groups
Review large datasets of maintenance contracts and decipher patterns to further enable improved business outcomes

Job Requirements

A self-starter with an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
Experience with the renewal business, Installed base churn activities, and channel partner programs
Proven ability to work collaboratively, and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert, within a team environment to meet aggressive goals
Experience creating QBR and MBR slide decks
Provide key insights on critical metrics and levers that impact renewal revenue (IB opportunity, ACV, renewal rates, discount, contract term)
Ability to provide practical business insights from complex data sets and -use results for strategy recommendations
Track record of success rolling out programs in a fast paced, high growth
Ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior management (verbal and written via Powerpoint and Excel)
Strong documentation and data management and analysis skills
Must have the ability to develop, own and drive processes; complete complex analysis; successfully partner with other professionals; and have strong project management skills
Creative approach to problem solving


3-4 years in a sales strategy or analytics role; Management consulting experience preferred
Experience with reporting / visualization and analytics tools and CRM experience
Bachelors or Masters degree with quantitative emphasis CS, Economics, Finance, Math preferred
Extraordinary proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Tableau proficiency is a plus
