Job Description:

We are currently retained by a leading well-funded Agri startup to hire a Business Head-Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition

This role will offer you to the opportunity to create and manage the overall product portfolio including P&L Management, People Management, Overseeing Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, and Building alliances for CP and CN Category

The role will include

- Lead the Category Management function and the establish of excellence in Category Management across the Crop Protection categories

- Own pricing and product management for the category

- Build and maintain vendor relationships

- P&L management

- Ensure that strategies are in place, approved, documented, and communicated for all categories

- Ensure that Category Handbooks are in place for all categories

To fit the bill, you must have

- An MBA Agri or MSc with 10-12 years strong experience in Crop Protection/Biostimulants/PGR companies

- P&L management experience

- Strong stakeholder management skills to engage with business leaders on their requirements and manage expectations

- Analyse and study customer requirement and forecast purchase planning

- Worked closely with farmers and understand their mindset

- Brand planning and positioning in Agri industry

- Strong people management experience
