Job Description - Ensuring strong operational & business efficiency in conjunction with the over-all business strategy The role will be working closely with the CEO as a part of the India Leadership Team focusing on long term successful performance

Client Details

Our client is a leading global MNC in the Testing & Certification space, alongside a global and India presence They are extremely driven in their effort to become the market leaders in their space, and need a fundamentally strong Business Director to manage the India Operations with key focus on expanding their India footprint across other industry segments

Description

Reporting to the CEO, the incumbent will be responsible for

- Provide upward feedback to ensure the global strategy benefits from local insights and remains in line with local requirements

- Analyze market potential to develop positioning & pricing strategy

- Monitor market to identify development of new trends and technologies

- Support development of new services/products across assigned market segment

- Responsible for budgeting, resource planning, deployment, management, monitoring and control in line with business growth

- Draft, negotiate and secure contracts for local & international clients

- Manage pre and post contract commercial issues including credit and collection

- Manage operations to drive efficiency, productivity and best quality of education

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting besides claim management

- Maintain optimum customer satisfaction besides working with business lines to foster synergies

- Identify opportunities for business acquisition besides coaching and developing a business team

Profile

- Minimum 15-18 years experience with a keen understanding of how the food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and life-science industry operates in India The person must come with sound operational background, have a strong technical inclination besides possessing commercial business acumen and strong leadership ability

- Masters degree in business management or engineering or relevant technical field along with 5 years of general management experience is desirable The person must be proactive with sound problem solving skills and hands-on approach, and knowledge of India market

Prior experience in Lifesciences company is a great to have
