RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversee production of food; tasting food and reviewing presentation

  • Food ordering, within guidelines

  • Execution of wedding and group food tastings

  • Schedule for banquet kitchen staff

  • Supervise team and expedite food from kitchen

  • Training of all kitchen personnel

  • Oversee/enforce sanitation and safety procedures for all kitchen personnel

  • Ensure proper check sheet/in-house sanitation program

  • Maintain high level of professionalism in kitchen with team members




  • QUALIFICATIONS


  • High school graduate or equivalent required; culinary school diploma or hospitality management preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of total culinary experience in a variety of situations with fine dining establishments

  • Knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques Knowledge of sanitation, food safety and food costs

  • Trustworthy, loyal and good with people Flexible, creative, and able to work productively under pressure
