Dell s Online Engineering (Dell Commerce Services) organization is hiring an eCommerce B2B Senior Advisor to be part of the B2B UX Analytics team This is a global team responsible for analytics and insights for Multi Billion $ online B2B business Work of this team influences actions of Run the Business Operations team and features and roadmaps considered by engineering development team

B2B Analytics team is responsible for analytics and insights for Buyer and Seller platform of applications regarding


  • Platform Health-Speed and stability of entire ecosystems of applications supporting business

  • UX Improvement- customer online experience

  • Engineering Launches and ROI, program benefit analysis

  • Optimization of Revenue/Unit/Margin Run the Business

  • Driving AI/ML programs and integration on website


B2B Product UX team

The B2B Product UX Analytics team is responsible for insights and recommendations to optimize usable interface designs across applications by applying a user-centered, iterative design process Collects behavioral/browsing data from end users and customers to identify problems, and/or insights that impact product design and development

This includes analysis focused on application speed, stability, user experience, support of ongoing run-the-business usage of the applications including merchandising, pathing, content optimization, etc The work includes data ingestion, data massaging, and statistical analysis Effective outputs require simple user friendly synthesis of information, including well-articulated insights

Accountabilities

The person in this role will be working closely with Medium Business (MB) Online merchandisers to help grow the business It would involve


  • Revenue analytics for MB customers Identifying trends and opportunities

  • Product level performance and providing indicators to business on what products have more traction which products require more focus

  • Supporting Monthly/Weekly reviews, provide summary on performance for executive leadership

  • Conduct Launch Analytics with specific focus on MB customers

  • Conduct analysis to provide inputs and generate ideas for driving personalization on site

  • Develop and maintain scorecard of site behavior visitors, engagement, conversation, cross-site %s, CSAT, site search keywords etc

  • Help with customer acquisition strategy by analyzing various marketing plays

  • Establish a process to visualize all marketing plays/campaigns running during a given period and help derive insights

  • Work with data scientist teams to bring together UX, marketing, sales data sources for increasingly single view of customer and processes around accessing it eg, Hadoop/hive/splunk etc as well as support ad-hoc data asks

  • Establish relationship with key business partners or Point of Contacts to accelerate issues fix

  • Present findings to key stakeholders

  • Cross functional collaboration to improve customer experience


Requirements (6+ years experience)


  • Education MBA/ degree in business administration or Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science/IT, Applied Science, Math, Statistics

  • Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting - Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for delivery within a business area

  • Understanding of Online e-Commerce experience (pre-purchase, purchase path, post purchase)

  • Understanding of web metrics, customer pathing and how to utilize in creating user experience flow and opportunity identification

  • Understanding of Cost Benefit Analysis and ROI calculation

  • Thorough understanding of Adobe Site Catalyst + experience in any of the e-commerce analytics tools Discover, Insights, TeaLeaf or Experience in Big Data tools and skills including Hadoop (Hive), Splunk, SQL, R, Python

  • Business experiences allowing for strong interconnection between analyses and solving of business problems

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences

  • Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills

  • Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills

  • Team work spirit and enable to be part of a global team, with remote leaders and peers;

  • Capability to identify and troubleshoot potential Business issues;


Desirables


  • Previous experience in web analytics in B2C or B2B domains

  • Exposure to Online business, demonstrated a data driven approach to developing business ideas for site & traffic improvements

  • Experience in analytics teams in large companies, working with multi stakeholder setup

  • Project management skills - Prioritized amongst multiple objectives and demonstrated flexibility during the course of the engagement

  • Dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery, worked in large cross functional teams

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package, specially Excel and Power Point;
