Job Description:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a customer interfacing position managing aggregate orders of $100 MM per annum

  • Experience with contract management and execution

  • ERP experience within the order-to-cash process (SAP experience strongly preferred)

  • Experience working with/within major Engineering Procurement & Construction contractor preferred

  • Experience with CMS & Salesforce


  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business Management/Law/Engineering


  • Ability to read, interpret, and negotiate all contract terms in sales agreements

  • A good understanding of RFPs/ RFQs, identifying the risks and key contractual issues, evaluating and negotiating on the deviations

  • Ability to work through SMA, CRM and Salesforce applications and aptitude to quickly learn new business applications/processes, and provide recommendations for improvements

  • Problem solving skills to identify discrepancies in contracts, internal processes and customer expectations

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multinational team and customers in a global environment

  • English native speaker or high-level proficiency in the language for effective communication at all levels of the organization and externally

  • Business acumen, including excellent critical thinking and analytics, risk mitigation and time management

  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute verbal and written guidance to and from compliance staff, including sales order documentation, and company procedures, as well as ability to translate, train and instruct staff

  • Familiarity with reviewing and negotiation of financial instruments such as Letter of Credit process, bank guarantees etc

  • Deep knowledge of international commercial terms, shipping documents, requirements and terminology

  • Demonstrated project management skills including schedule management and cost control measures

  • Best-in-Class demonstrated success in customer service and satisfaction

  • Experience in evaluating metrics and global landscape to help improve performance, processes and procedures

  • Solution oriented, self-starter that can succeed working independently in a highly dynamic environment

Essential Responsibilities

Contract Expertise

  • Serve as a departmental subject matter expert on all contract drafting, negotiation, execution and fulfillment related terms in contract review process

  • Ensure all contracts (including RFPs/ RFQs) are understood, and related milestones, rights and obligations are understood, mapped, evaluated in terms of risks, tracked through proper completion

  • Provide full and timely visibility to regional teams and functional on contract milestones portfolio, ensuring all milestones are identified, tracked and measured for performance and compliance

Provide guidance and recommendations regarding fulfillment related terms, risks and costs associated with risks during redline phase of contracts within assigned region

  • Ability to propose and negotiate language on contract amendments, change orders, estoppels, etc, while ensure commitments are made with the proper Scope of Authority (internal policy) approvals

  • Manage and drive agreements through execution with cross functional teams internally and externally with customer

  • Review contractual requirements and interpret into actionable work streams

  • Work on sales tools and applications (CRM, salesforce, etc)

Collaboration, Coordination & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with other groups and functions to identify and execute Operational improvements projects, focused on process simplification, efficiency improvements and better customer service

  • Prioritize and drive process and operational improvements to completion

  • Develop analytics, reports and communication structured to report on project s performance to management, cross-functional partners and customers

  • Develop/implement procedures to ensure continued compliance with contract requirements and company policies

  • Collaborate in building and improving department s procedural documentation Serve as trainer and educator of applicable policies to affected groups (Sales, Logistics, Etc)
