Position Purpose

The Investment Operations Leader will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of an investment operations team Incumbent will assist in the implementation and ongoing management of investment operations strategies, policies, and procedures across Principal Global Investors boutique structure Incumbent must effectively communicate and partner with PGI-Shared Services and boutique stakeholders as well as members from external organizations

Qualifications

Know-How/Skill Sets/Job Requirements

Education Bachelors degree or 15 years education in Commerce/Finance

Experience Minimum of 7-10 years in experience in investment/mutual fund operations or related field MBA preferred Good working knowledge of investment products and services, securities processing and information technology required Excellent human relations, communication, decision making, analytical, organization, and project management skills required

Compliance Requirement

Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers, operate in an ethical manner in accordance with State and Federal law, the companys Corporate Code of Ethics, Affirmative Action, Diversity, employee handbook, applicable
