Associate Director/ Sr Associate Director, Health Systems HEOR Liaison - Northwest - 199984

Description

The primary mission of the US Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Department is to improve patient outcomes by developing and communicating the value of Boehringer Ingelheims (BI) products

The Health System HEOR Liaison is responsible for collaborating with Health Systems or Priority Account customers in areas of improving population health metrics, improving quality of care metrics (eg Medication adherence, guideline adherence, shared decision making, etc), and lowering total cost of care These activities are to be conducted in alignment with the Account Teams, and within company guidelines, policies and directives

The Sr Health System HEOR Liaison demonstrates expertise in account planning and executing effective interactions with customers Demonstrates leadership by creating and driving regional/national initiatives that help raise the effectiveness of the HEOR Field team May be a subject matter expert for one therapeutic area to serve as a lead and liaison between internal partners and field partners

Duties & Responsibilities

Translate evidence to actions and decisions including population health management and quality improvement Provide support to customers in analyzing and interpreting health outcomes data and assist customers in the use of this information with the goal of optimizing quality improvement and population management initiatives within their organizations Responsible for leading the execution of relevant field based health economics and outcomes research activities at assigned accounts in order to achieve triple aim in areas of mutual interest to BI This may include analysis of syndicated and customer data sets, predictive analytics, measurement of medication adherence, improving performance on quality measures
Primary interface and initial point of contact for large scale real world evidence opportunities Work with key customers on the Population-based Real World Evidence Program
Develop account specific HEOR strategies to ensure effective utilization of HEOR information, services and tools Collaborate with the Account Team or Priority Account Director to ensure all account team plans incorporate the account-specific HEOR strategy and to collaborate with customers in areas of improving population health, improving quality of care(eg medication adherence, guideline adherence, shared decision making, care coordination, etc), and lowering total cost of care Serve as primary point of contact on the account team accountable to work with customers on analytics support, patient engagement, quality improvement, and cost of care (triple aim) Establish strong cross-functional teamwork with Account Team or Priority Account Director and other headquarter teams to effectively meet customer needs through a coordinated account based approach and to specifically support areas of health outcomes, real-world evidence (RWE), and collaborations within those accounts Create and maintain a collaborative relationship with our customers
Collaborate with Value Evidence and Outcomes Liaison or Priority Account Director as necessary to address customer needs related to population health management and triple aim and to understand the payer landscape for assigned health systems
Execute and document customer interactions in the appropriate systems and tools (ie Veeva CRM) in accordance with compliance guidelines Communicate account and project activities and provide status updates routinely to key internal stakeholders
Support the Account Team or HEOR Field Priority Account Director in developing and executing account priorities, building scientific relationships with assigned key stakeholders, obtaining insights on evidence gaps and getting insights on business and scientific priorities
Provide timely clinical, economic and scientific product updates proactively or in response to unsolicited requests per standard operating procedure (including Dossier) to care pathway decision makers or similar entities
Provides insights from external customers to home office-based HEOR and Medical teams to ensure strategies and tactics are robust in filling key evidence gaps from a health system perspective Establish and maintain relationships with key external health system and/or health plan decision makers, influencers and scientific experts as needed

Sr Associate Director Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and or participate in special projects as necessary to help further develop the functional
Demonstrate expertise in account planning and execution of HEOR Strategy
Serve as a mentor to new Health System HEOR Liaisons
Support HEOR Field Team Director in developing strategic plan specific to assigned product related to HEOR field activities Support strategic execution, communication, and develop and coordinate training related to product and disease state assigned
Serve as a mentor to peers and/or new Health System HEOR Liaisons In addition to providing internal team training and serving as a resource, they could also provide guidance on when, how, who to use for additional support
Coordinate and align with the Account Team or HEOR Field Priority Account Director in developing and executing account priorities, building scientific relationships with assigned key stakeholders, obtaining insights on evidence gaps and getting insights on business and scientific priorities within the HEOR field strategy
Demonstrates expertise in effective use of customer insights internally and externally Provides insights from external customers to home office-based HEOR and Medical teams to ensure strategies and tactics are robust in filling key evidence gaps from a health system perspective
Coordinate with other Health System HEOR Liaisons to compile customer insights to provide an aggregate view to the home office
Establish and maintain relationships with key external health system and/or health plan decision makers, influencers and scientific experts as needed
