Job Description:

Primary responsibilities

Monitor, improve, and oversee all QMS quality policies/procedures to achieve and sustain all required certifications
Develop and maintain a robust internal audit program
Develop and maintain the corrective/preventive action system, Corrective Action Board
Develop, maintain, monitor, and initiate actions based on quality metrics to support policy deployment
Support Management Review; function as Site Management Representative
Develop, implement, and execute product and process quality plans that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements
Act as designated liaison for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations
Develop and maintain regulatory manuals, documentation and records
Manage customer, government, regulatory agency, and third party quality audits
Initiate, monitor and execute quality improvement initiatives to align with and achieve Policy Deployment Policy Review goals and objectives
Develop, administer, and manage the budget for the quality organization
Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with external and internal customers to facilitate the successful accomplishment of business objectives
Plan and coordinate Quality Review, Corrective Action Board, team meetings, and other periodic quality focused meetings
Assure quality staff alignment and capacity with business demands
Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with QMS procedures, work instructions and division Best Practices throughout the facility
Assure inspection and test is planned, effective and efficient in mitigating quality risks
Select, develop and evaluate quality staff to assure skills align with job expectations
Interface with divisional quality organization to communicate, deploy and achieve Quality Performance Excellence


Bachelors degree in an Engineering or other related technical discipline combined with 10 years of related supervisory experience OR Advanced degree combined with 8 years of related supervisory experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in a regulated or structured quality environment (ie automotive, aerospace preferred)
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is strongly preferred
Proficiency required in Microsoft Office suite
ASQ CQE certification and/or applied application of SPC, 6 sigma and lean principles are required
Familiarity and experience with the application of APQP-D/PFMEA and control plans is required
