ABOUT THIS JOB
At Nielsen we autonomously contribute to analysis that resolves specific Client concerns; serves
as a liaison between Commercial team, Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineering, & Data
Science teams with regards to Internal and External Client Projects Data science drives
everything we do here at Nielsen Our statistical research is at the forefront of an industry
moving at the speed of light In this role on the Digital Product team, your work on innovative
methodologies and data optimization will directly impact our business and our clients

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement/ Building Relationships
Build and maintain strong networking key client stakeholders & Sales personas
across broad base of client
targets
Confidence & credibility to talk to a wide range of decision influencers
Demonstrable knowledge of the CPG and Retail industry, understanding how trade and
business needs are
changing and how Nielsen solutions can help solve client business issues
Responsible for developing case studies & client testimonials
Full understanding of Nielsen portfolio and interconnectedness of different solutions
Understanding Client Needs/ Solution Building
Has a deep understanding of customer business around (pricing, assortment, distribution
, and execution)
solution focus and can discuss issues from multiple angles
Has a deep understanding of research methods and Nielsen solutions and customize
and design solutions to
meet the client requirements

Sales Management
Deployment of necessary solutions around persona as part of the sales planning process
Able to drive the team towards sales targets, has visibility of all opportunities and risk,
ensures the team has tighT pipeline and proposal tracking systems

Comfortable negotiating with senior clients and knows what levers to use Clearly links
the value of Nielsen
SEFF products and solutions with the price to overcome objections Pre-empts
stakeholder objections and pushes the client to a favorable outcome
Owns the business plan financial target/proposal submission/revenue on hand/pipeline
Takes overall accountability for business planning and implementation Tracks the
financial performance of Clients

Product Management
Responsible for all project deliveries by the team
Ensure 100 PERCENT quality and error-free work by the solutions and consulting team
Help design/customize mix solution to suit client needs

Team Management and Collaboration
Team Management (including day-today management, check-ins, one to ones, year end
admin Etc)
Coaching and training of others on the team
Manage and work collaboratively with a team of 2-3 junior consultants and solutions
experts
Invest in mentoring and developing the next level of managers and leaders People
Management is key
Involved in the recruitment of top-quality candidates suited for job positions and
onboarding/training

Youve dabbled in research and analytics And you have the communication chops to translate it
all into conversation or presentations While youve worked with global cross-functional teams,
you can also put your head down and focus on independent projects Seeing the big picture
takes attention to detail Keeping up with the fast-changing world of digital media measurement
takes someone who recognizes that You know whats happening in big data and youre ready
to influence whats next

QUALIFICATIONS
8 years experience in marketing mix analytics or consumer research (with strong
the familiarity of analytics methods

like segmentation/ clustering, driver analysis) or continuous measurement solutions (with
robust statistical knowledge)
Experience with managing client engagement and consulting including presenting
recommendations to senior client
stakeholders
Experience with revenue management, driving business growth and leading teams
Experience managing projects from end to end, and proven ability to demonstrate value
for clients
Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts simply and
concisely
Strong mindset on accountability, results-oriented; one who takes initiatives &
follows through
Out of the box thinking to drive customized solutions and innovation
