Role

Business Management Associate is part of the NWM COO Business Management Team and manages internal communication, intranet, internal branding, employee engagement, leadership engagement, town halls, events, visits, reward & recognition, employee opinion surveys for NWM COO The role-holder requires the ability to think strategically and execute tactically, as well as the ability to coordinate global projects with a geographically diverse matrix team

What The Business Does

Business Management Team plays a strategic and functional role for NWM COO, to support business, conduct administrative good practices, and to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal procedures The BM function supports in filling process gaps, during process; the team is responsible for supporting all verticals and business streams to ensure success incl headcount and budgets

Your Responsibilities

Maintain the quality of the fabric of our offices and ensure all emerging issues are identified and corrected promptly Strategize, own, manage and deliver an engaging, and effective engagement & communications to support NWM COO campaigns, strategic communications and business initiatives
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a quality of service from an integrated and efficient COO function and be proactive at identifying issues, opportunities and conversing with those whom COO support
Support the COO on core responsibilities and any ad-hoc requirement as directed Contribute and collaborate on initiatives across the business and generate innovative ideas and help implement new approaches to current projects across the team
Manage relationships with support functions and with external suppliers and vendors Be supporting actively the Employee Value Proposition and Community Investment agenda across NWM COO This will require working closely with functional finance teams
Help in delivering the people agenda for the department and arrange people engagement initiatives to keep staff engaged Provide secretariat services to the Senior Executive, including preparation and planning of agenda, associated paper and follow up on actions, organise, and maintain a complex calendar, managing across different time zones, manage schedules and including arranging the meetings, conference calls, booking of appointments and travel (domestic and international)
Administrative responsibilities for travel and re-imbursement, POs and vendor payments Organise and maintain filing system in compliance with Records Management Policy and be maintaining the confidentiality of the information and documentation that is accessible to Also, make sure to be maintain upto date Distribution lists for NWM COO India

The Skills That You Need

At least 7 years of experience in large financial institution or multinational organisation of providing Secretariat services to the Senior Executives
Previous experience of working in BM team or providing secretariat services ie working on multiple priorities and working under extreme pressure Please refer to highlighted text in above section
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong skills on Vendor & Supply Management
Strong skills on MI generations and data representation for Senior Stakeholders
Must be able to successfully work in a global matrix organization, collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects
Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency
Effective teamwork skills and the ability to build rapport along with good planning and organising skills
Ability to develop new ideas and drive them forward
Ability to help others see the common solution and resolve differences in opinion leading to the removal of objectors and also the ability to influence senior managers
Ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills matched by the ability to create presentation material using PowerPoint
Ability to inspire, motivate, support and manage a team
