Process Overview

Enterprise CIO (ECIO) and ECF CIO comprises of technology for enterprise functions like Finance, HR, Corp Workplace, Risk, Data, Marketing and Corp Services The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications for the Enterprise functions

The Risk and Finance Technology team provides end-to-end technology solutions and support for Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officers Compliance Technology partners with Global Compliance, Operational Risk and Enterprise Independent Testing to strategically automate complex business processes that satisfy current regulations and position the firm to address future regulatory requirements We also partner with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team who oversees the Banks strategy to avoid, detect and report money laundering, terrorist financing and economic sanctions risk

The role would be focused on formulating strategies, influencing stakeholders and elevating our engagement with Strategic partners, Ops Users, technology teams in BACI and Dallas A good fit would be a Senior person with strong Delivery background (15 yrs), Communication , experience in influencing without authority and a Go Getter attitude Team Presence

225 member BACI Tech team (wide range of tech stack including Big Data )
300 strategic partner Associates,
170 Ops Users in GDCE

Role involves Delivering SDM commitments (60 AITs) , GT&O transformational programs like Agile adoption & data strategy , partnering with Ops user groups in the region (BACI , Asia) , provide oversight over 300 Strategic partners , better Integration with Dallas (~100) for the Global Compliance , Ops Risk and Enterprise Independent testing team He/she will need to collaborate with a large set of stakeholders in India and the US , independently lead projects with complete accountability, display a high degree of influencing skills , work closely with project teams, internal stakeholders in devising creative approaches to solving business problems and enhance team engagements

Responsibilities

Understands key priorities for the Compliance and Ops Risk Tech function and engages strategically for growth, capacity and opportunity
Provide technology thought leadership and help gain efficiencies around Data strategies
Work force strategy formulation and elevate engagement with Strategic partners Overall our SP population is currently higher than BACI and this is on an upward trajectory this year as well
Liaise with India User groups who work on Enterprise Independent Testing , Financial Crimes etc and bring about a tangible business benefits
Work on elevating engagement with our Strategic partners and strengthen the Delivery accountability from the Region
Strengthen our Integration with Dallas Team and deliver value to business through Follow the Sun Model
Manages budgets/ targets, monitors progress , adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
Lead Initiatives around WorkForce strategy , Elevating engagement with Strategic partners
Work closely with Compliance and Ops Technology global head, functional managers and other stakeholders in defining and executing strategic priorities for the India teams
Manages business as usual and keeps global teams informed and abreast with latest including Risk and Issues
Manage BACI development leads Work closely with the BACI leads to proactively address issues/risk, manage growth, identify and implement new opportunities
Lead/Drive organizational initiatives such as learning & development, innovation, employee engagement, project maturity etc,
The candidate will be expected to travel domestically within India across Mumbai, Chennai and Gurgaon offices

Requirements

Mandatory skills

Strong professional experience in development and/or technology delivery role of larger projects/ programs
Experience in Program Management with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience as a direct project manager managing large global transition programs centered around data which includes multiple waves and work streams
Experience managing/leading design & development teams Experience with cross LOB / Enterprise matrix teams
Strong technology development/ delivery leadership experience with practical agile management exposure At least 8 years of hands on Technology Development and Technology Delivery experience
Experience in broad spectrum of Technology Areas (important)Experience developing and managing very large Data Warehouse implementations (>40 TB)
Responsible for capacity planning, project management and institutionalizing integrated and error free processes across various projects Managing budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
Responsible for Relationship/ Account / Vendor Management of a business area within the portfolio Serves as a single point of contact for the Function and must be capable of managing initiative-based portfolios in a multi-matrixed environment Strong Data Analysis skills
Experience of Banking or Financial Domain

Desired Skills

Demonstrable communications skills, both written and verbal Should be able to effectively communicate with Business Partners, Senior Leadership, and fellow technology teams; Should have mastered the art of influencing without authority
Must be results oriented Participates with other managers to establish plans and objectives for a part of a functional area, division, product group
Prior experience in handling Vendors Vendor Management
Experience in creating and executing plans for transformation initiatives
