About Process

Strategic Project Team is a group of Project Managers that assist Businesses lead end-to end planning, management and execution of strategic project The Project Manager has the opportunity to directly contribute to strategic initiatives by supporting the organization in meeting regulatory/industry mandates, client commitments and/or business objectives

Key Responsibilities & Experience Range

As a Project Manager you will

Lead the end-to end planning, management and execution of a small to medium project and/or lead a work stream within a large strategic initiative
Assume responsibility for assigned project stage(s) and drive execution to ensure targets, budgets and milestones are met
Develop and maintain end to end plans to manage project timeline, scope, deliverables and resources
Utilize standard best practice project artifacts and cadence to establish and maintain project structure and governance (eg, project charter, issues list, meeting cadence, reporting etc)
Provide robust project level reporting and metrics tracking for initiative to ensure target timeline, budgets and milestones are met
Coordinate overall project communications, risks and issues resolution; anticipate and escalate when necessary
Support the teams strategy and direction to meet client needs through the understanding of their business
Support team development through training and coaching and encourage experiential and other learning opportunities
Champion and support a collaborative cross-business environment that fosters change utilizing the Change Management Framework
Engage in continuous improvement of SPS team through sharing of best practices and/or learning opportunities (eg, hosting a lunch & learn, PMI Roundtable, contributing to SPS Collaborate Site, etc)
Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and demonstrate ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundation

Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent required
Overall 10-13 years experience and 7-8 years job related/industry experience in financial services or consulting is required
Good knowledge of proven business analysis methodology is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, and Word required
Strong analytical skills required
Good communication and writing skills required
Financial Industry expertise specifically Fund Accounting and Back office operations as a Plus
PMP and/or Agile certification will be a plus
