Job Description:

FP&A team at Medi Assist supports a mature and established business, while also working with budding businesses and new ideas We are looking to expand our team with talent that can strike balance between best practices and innovation We value soft skills and innate abilities over classroom education and prior experiences and hence seek individuals that would thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and would bring in knowledge of industry best practices and sharp financial acumen In addition to FP&A, this role shall also support the CFO and CEO on various critical strategic initiatives with various financial modelling, sensitivity analysis and come up with recommendations on business decisions

Primary responsibilities would include

Business Partner

- Be a business partner with all the operating teams (Sales, Operations, Support functions) Planning / Financial Modelling

- Lead all the planning cycles (Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan, and Monthly Forecast)

- Champion long-term growth plans by business segment and identify entitlement model from cash and profit standpoint

Reporting & Analysis

- Reviewing Financial Statements, Preparation of board decks

- Work closely with the accounting group and perform deep dive analysis on sales, costs and profitability of all business units

- Draft analytical summaries for the management

- Perform scenario analysis to measure impact of strategic decisions

- Lead review calls with Regional/Departmental heads on their financial performances


- Identify trends and generate detailed financial and operational projection Be responsible for developing reliable estimates of sales, margin, SG&A costs

Risk / Opportunity Assessment

- Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue improvement

- Identifying financials risks and raising early warning signal

- drive teams to mitigating the risks against plan by leading / monitoring the actions by owner

Innovation / Process Improvement

- Automate processes to improve speed and accuracy of critical information

Due Diligence

- Spearhead Due Diligence Audit


- Collaborate with Sales team, design pricing models, evaluate pricing effectiveness and assist in pricing decisions

Investor Relation

- Provide periodic Investors reports, address Investor queries on companys performance

Qualification / Traits / Requirements

- Finance graduate with above 10 years of relevant experience

- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance is plus

- Should have good understanding and working experience in Finance and Business operations

- Should be able to communicate with all levels of management with clarity and confidence

- Strong interpersonal trait with polished communication skill

- Good mentor to the team

- We are looking at someone who is the No2 in Finance for our company Anyone who is has exposure to big company and has been a CFO in the current mid sized or small organization will also work Apart from good competence and 10+ years of experience in Finance; he should be good at communication, presentation and negotiation skills as well

Management of India budget and submission to Group in two phases Initial phase involves frequent meetings with various stakeholders to build budget methodology and to get the input accordingly Compilation of entire budget for internal review Second phase involves back and forth discussion on Budget finalisation with group
