JOB PURPOSE

For Preventive maintenance, spare parts management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spare parts Management
Lead activities that involve coordinating the critical spares for equipment for both Imported & Indigenous
Coordinate with Project Manager for making the list of spares requirement for the respective process equipments
Arrange or prepare the drawing of all type of local developments of imports substitution
Inventory controls for all critical spares
Coordination with stores for maintaining the Mini-Max item
Coordinate with all equipment suppliers and the plant manufacturing team for making the list of critical spares requirement
Interaction with service team for all sub assembly and spares
Standardization of spares for within the plant and throughout all CEAT plants
Quality assurance for the supplied spares form the suppliers
Up keeping of the documented system and drawings for easy retrieval
Review and ensure all type of spares, tools & Tackles availability
Local Vendor development for substitution Vendor audit and rating, continual improvement of vendor quality
Responsible for warehousing of different spares

Preventive Maintenance
Lead activities that involves modification of machine& components required for process improvements and product improvements
Do Validation and change management
Periodic inspection and reverification of all of the process equipment proactively
Documents preparation and maintain the records for all kind of audits
Ensure continuous operation of all process equipment
Spare parts management & Localization
Preparation of Periodic maintenance schedule and execution of the activities with acceptance of all stake holders
Maintenance Practice - PM/PL/JH(AM)
Preparation of Maintenance schedule, Execute & Coordinate with respective agency
Maintaining the records for equipment History

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

Proficiency in Tyre Manufacturing Process(Advanced)

(Technical knowhow Mixing/Fabric/Steel wire process, Material preparation, Tyre building, Curing, Uniformity, production processes, systems, layout plans and quality measures)

Proficiency and experience in engineering drawings(Auto CAD/3D modeling etc)

Preparation and interpretation of the drawings, understand and judge the tolerance level for correct fitting of the components

Experience in SAP MM Module is preferable

Proficiency in Plant systems & processes(Advanced)

(Ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM and other contemporary systems & process)

(Knowhow on organizational mission ,Code of conduct, product SKUs, accountabilities wrt market scenario & competition & ability to apply in ones role, profitability )

QUALIFICATION

BE/BTech/Diploma -Mechanical engineering

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 10 years

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

(IF ANY)

ESSENTIAL

Good positive attitude, Team Builder, Result oriented Drawing preparation skill (Tools like CAD, 3D modeling), Exposure to SAP, Drawing interpretation skill, Tyre industry experience is preferred(At least one Greenfield experience)
