Roles and Responsibility

Job Responsibilities

Actively involved in the engagement from audit planning to finalization (including archival) This included the following activities and areas Organizing and conducting the planning meeting for the engagement, assisting in determining the scope of the integrated audit and planning materiality for the engagement This also included the audit of internal control over financial reporting for the corresponding areas

Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year Establish expectations of value to be delivered

Participate in performing audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk

Understand the clients industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client

Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams Monitor the engagement teams progress against the plan and alter it when needed Generate new business opportunities Understand big 4 and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally

Assists in the review and finalization of the financial statements, including resolution of comments by reviewers within the engagement team

Assists in the preparation of communications to the audit committee

To qualify for this highly visible position and an excellent opportunity for career advancement, candidates must have

A qualified Chartered Accountant with approximately 3-10 years of post qualification experience and working as an auditor for a public accounting firm (preferably from a BIG 4)

Excellent project management skills

Advanced written and verbal communication skills
