The company offers a broad range of integrated solutions for care of people, patient handling and hygiene, medical beds and therapeutic surfaces, wound healing, DVT prevention, disinfection and diagnostics with reduced mobility and related conditions, with the aim to enhance efficiency and quality of care in elderly care facilities, hospitals and other care environments

As an Assistant Manager Logistics, Order Processing & Inventory Management your responsibilities include the following

Job Purpose

Support the operations of companys Logistics, order booking of equipment orders, and support the rental operations, for all the product lines of the Company
Monitoring the inventory Management process, to coordinate personnel & processes to achieve effective distribution of goods
Ensure proper inventory management, timely dispatches, arrangement of transportation plan and execute monthly inventory holding for the company
Eliminate obsolete & off-spec material and reduce aging material
Support the companys achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals

Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of products from factories to warehouses, customer sites
Work with cross-functional teams and the Indias sales force to ensure the processes meet the needs of both internal and external customers
Plan for the internal consumption of rental assets based on utilization parameters and demands / needs documentation from the zones
Plan and monitor the rental assets and ensure distribution of the same across the rental depots across the country
Manage the warehouse inventories and operations
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Monitor and analyze the return on assets and rental assets utilization
Manage the overall order booking process by checking margins / documentation and processing the orders on various factories abroad
Coordination for the inward logistics and onward supply to the customers
Coordination for Customs Clearance and interaction with CHAs / Agents / Customers to expedite equipment supplies
Oversee Logistics & Operations development, identify new trends in the respective areas, drive growth, and directing Logistics operations
Drive the development of national Logistics & Operations strategies, with a six-sigma approach
Financial reporting in Leadership meetings, reports and directly to the Head- Logistics / MD
Ensuring all order booking is as per estimates for margin preservation
Work closely with Sales BU to develop, establish, and direct channel and distribution strategies and programs
Work closely with Sales BU to develop and execute lead programs
Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution
Collaboration with Sales BU to aim for accuracy of inventory planning and forecasting and general internal warehousing process compliance by commercial team members
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduate Qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics or Operations Management with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
Very high level of knowledge in the areas of Logistics & Operations
Thorough knowledge of Planning & Scheduling
Experience of Transportation & Distribution management
Experience of Customs Clearance and handling Custom House Agents CHAs
