Assistant Manager Australia Student Placement | Kukatpally, Telangana, India | Full Time

POSITION PURPOSE

Achieve the short term goals in assigned destination for Student Placement
Provide inputs to support development and execute the destination wise activity calendars to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets by intake
Train and maintain the approved number of certified
Build strong client support through ongoing engagement, quality service to students and clients, high quality applications
Contribute to building a world class operating environment by exhibiting a collaborative operating style
Effectively implement global priority projects at country/office (Ex OSCAR/OSCAR Applied etc)
Be a productive and effective member of office leadership team and support Area Manager through exhibiting a collaborative operating style

Key KPIs-

Achieve targets for Leads, Applications and Students Placed by destination and by intake
Timely preparation and execution of activity calendars in line with target dates
Australia client satisfaction ratings
Maintain trained and certified counsellor numbers by destination
Successful implementation of global priorities example 100 PERCENT QC pass of Applications through Oscar Applied , 100 PERCENT OSCAR adoption across all counsellors
Be a productive and effective member of country leadership team through exhibiting a collaborative operating style thereby building a productive and motivated team

Key Performance Area Business & Sales Management

Drive the development and implementation of destination based office business plans

Destination business plans developed and implemented with targets achieved

Set and monitor KPIs to support the implementation of the plan

Office level KPIs set as per defined timeline

Financial Management

Provide inputs and once budget is set monitor Pipeline and Revenue budgets of the zone Monitor results and initiate corrective action where required

Budgets set and monitored, significant variances discussed with direct supervisor and actions plans implemented

Collaborate with Supervisor to implement forecasting methodologies and processes to achieve accurate, timely pipeline forecasts

Accurate forecasts are delivered within timelines

Sales Performance

Develop and maintain a strong sales and service culture within the business

Sales Productivity and Customer Satisfaction targets are set for each counsellor , regular monitoring and reporting against targets

Identify, develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives for the offices for student placement Monitor results and initiate corrective action where required

Office sales plans in place for assigned destination

Collaborate with Destination Client Relations Managers, Marketing to develop and implement lead generation programs including events, client office visits, web etc, ensure counselling capacity /capability as per targets and ensure consistent sales, service and client management performance standards and benchmarks which are continuously improved

Sales and service targets and client satisfaction levels delivered

Service Standards

Provide inputs and take necessary actions to the ongoing development and maintenance of service and client management performance standards and benchmarks for the office

Sales targets, satisfaction levels and growth plans achieved

Global Participation

Drive and guide the offices participation in and execution of global improvement projects where applicable

Ex-B2B system 100 PERCENT successful

People

Develop a strong Counselling, Sales team to oversee the creation of a dynamic, inclusive work place, building the culture while recognising and celebrating innovation success and achievement

Employee engagement survey results, student placement numbers and revenue

Build a performance driven culture

Implement the approved office management process and country Performance management and incentive plans in place for all staff

Communications

Speedily determine when an issue needs to be escalated to the Supervisor for resolution

Major issues identified, followed up and resolved without unplanned business impact

Proactively provide timely feedback and advice to the Supervisor on the management of office and on issues arising from competitor activities, changing business environments, change in student visa policies etc

Is proactive in ensuring that timely and topical discussions occur

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential requirements

Bachelors or equivalent degree
Industry knowledge Preferably working in sector or having prior experience in student placement sector
Experience in developing business plans, budgets and skills to monitor, review and report on progress
Proven ability to motivate and lead a small team to achieve demonstrable outcomes
Strong problem resolution skills
Experience in working with CRM systems will be desirable
A strong, ethical manager who acts with integrity and in the best interests of the business
Respects diversity in employees
Good written and verbal English skills
