The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate


The role is responsible for performing quality assurance on Credit applications approved by Credit Initiation to assess that applications have been approved in accordance to internal Credit Policy guidelines and local regulatory requirements


The role entails weekly and monthly reviews of exception reports to assess if each credit application has been approved in accordance to local regulatory and internal policy guidelines The incumbent is responsible for working closely with Credit Policy teams to define assurance checking criteria, with Credit Initiation / front line sales / operations teams to socialise assurance findings and with all involved stakeholders to follow through on remediating action plans to prevent recurrence

Risk Management

The incumbent is required to collaborate closely with Credit Policy, Credit Initiation, Client Acquisition and Operations teams to understand and evaluate potential risks detected during the course of assurance sampling The candidate should possess a moderate level of risk and control awareness and is expected to help highlight root causes of process inefficiencies and identify areas of processes which could be automated to help reduce propensity of manual errors


The incumbent must possess moderate level of writing skills to present key findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner to varying audiences The incumbent is also required to evaluate the effectiveness of mitigating solutions proposed and to monitor, track and document all progress till closure for proper and effective governance and future audits
