Job Description and Qualifications

Position summary A strong leadership role having responsibility of leading Liquid Bulk assets, Microbulk/Small Bulk assets, equipment rebuilds, and the quality program including data driven decision and recommendations to management utilizing forward view of new and lost business forecast Additionally, provide appropriate and accurate assignment of existing assets to the Project Engineering Group and complete, safe, and timely removal scheduling of lost business to minimize overall costs to Air Products and improve profit potential of all projects

Principal Accountabilities Strategic management and monitoring of the CE Asset supply chain for both Liquid Bulk and Microbulk, including optimization utilizing data driven decisions based on costs, business forecasting (installations and removals), inventories (new and idle), and strategic supplier partnerships
Assets include Liquid Bulk and Microbulk tanks, tubes, vaporizers, HSM,
Products include Atmospheric gases, Hydrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Helium
Utilize KPIs/Metrics to provide transparency to the available inventory (Ready, In Progress, and Idle) with periodic feedback from/to our stakeholders to support business needs
Utilize KPIs/Metrics to lead, promote and provide transparency to the performance of team, vendors, regional engineers and business to communicate success and/or identify improvement opportunities
Responsible for tanks rehabs / rebuilds Overall responsibility for providing equipment to the sub-regions through initial asset request, rehab, and shipment to project site including ownership of our rehab shop relationship
Lead the capital support budget for new and rehab equipment required to support the project pipeline and the budget for system removals This involves leading the accounting aspect of new equipment including team functions such as project building, EAR circulation, requisitions, purchase orders, capitalization, asset disposals, and invoicing This also involves detailed annual spend forecasting for inclusion in the companys operating plan
Overall responsibly for CE quality / cost of non-conformance work process and claim recovery working and negotiating with contractors / vendors, internal learning opportunities, trending, and root cause analysis
Evaluate various work processes for as-is and potential improvement initiatives, creating benefit cases and championing improvement projects
Responsible for sale of equipment requests, system / tank purchase requests, swap agreements / negotiation with competitors, and scrap decisions / campaigns
Lead the overall lost business (Delta) process from initial submission to system removal Monitor the rebilling capabilities and work with the sales organization for continual improvement Lead the safety aspect of removal projects following APCI decommissioning and contractor procedures and entering near misses when necessary
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors This includes providing forecasts to vendors, collaboration with sourcing on supply agreements and contracts, evaluating supply chain and new vendors
Review and approval of all crane lift plans for system removals
Maintain skilled and expert resources (Specialist, Technicians, and Coordinators) including direct responsibility for performance evaluations for the team and all necessary manager responsibilities

Education / Qualifications Engineering degree, 5 years of leadership experience
Shown leadership abilities
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills, must have strong ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
Strong ability to lead conflict
Strong P&L mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with various disciplines across Customer Engineering
Capital project engineering experience required
Experience and knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety Standards, unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements
Organizational credibility able to influence business area, engineering and operating managers in decision-making process
Strong technical capabilities including the understanding of the equipment and process technologies employed in Customer Engineering
Data access/mining and reporting experience preferred
