Job Purpose

Prepare, implement and execute sale of Chlorinated Paraffin in South Region to ensure sales target are met and to achieve business strategic objectives, goals and targets

Major Challenges

The key challenge is to achieve the targeted sales volume in southern region and attain leadership position in the market
To handle stiff competition from organized & unorganized players
Understanding customers quality requirement and facilitate plant to manufacture the correct product grades required by the customers
To penetrate in the economy grade segment thro product mix and increase volume share in the region
To ensure timely outstanding collection and and driving the dealer network for meeting the collection targeted plan in credit driven market
To optimise product realization through intelligent product placement and pricing strategy in an over supplied market
To develop customers in new speciality application segment

Principal Accountabilities

Implementation and Execution of sales & marketing plan of Chlorinated Paraffin in South Zone and assist Head CP Sales for achieving the targeted Sales Volume, product positioning, sales growth, revenues and realization targets

To prospect, interact; negotiate with customers and dealers for procurement & booking of orders as per budgeted sales plan
Fixation of sales & collection target for dealer and monitor their performance on periodic intervals
To indentify and propose for developing new SCP customer for driving sales volume
To visit customers
To maintain sustainable business with key customer account and explore and develop new customers in Lube, Paint and Leather segment
To implement the approved price strategy as formulated and suggested by Product and VAP- Head
To follow with our customer for dispatch schedule, loading & unloading of material
Co-ordination with Nagda and Renukoot Plant for timely execution of Order

To support product Head in Planning, monitoring the inventory of Finished Goods, control on receivables to have focused approach on targets & effective utilizations of resources & financial controls
To help product Head in preparation of monthly/quarterly sales & NSR projections & weekly review of targets & prepare/propose action plan
To assist Product Heads in Providing monthly sales plan/
Implementing and executing monthly / Quarterly sales achieving Net Sales Realization projections and weekly review of targets with dealers and prepare propose action plan
Review monthly and daily dispatch plan to keep finish goods level in permissible limits in synchronization with production plan
To Monitor, co-ordinate and follow-up with customers and dealers for payment within the stipulated time period

To assist product Head in Credit limit assessment and fixation
Weekly/monthly report preparation of receivables/collections Execution of strategic plans for improving the outstanding/Ugahi status

To ensure data capturing in SAP/ LN-6

Co-ordination with customers for orders delivery schedule, plants logistics to ensure on time delivery to customer in full as per agreed standard norms and to minimize the associated costs

Production Planning for CP (GRCD & ABCIL)Daily production Schedule
Follow-up for production with plant
Sales planning, Day wise distribution planning, T&D planning
Monitoring & Controlling western region depot & consignment agent operations
Stock and sales registers up-dating

Customer satisfaction and relationship management system process and action plans for improvement in customer loyalty in order to drive increase in premium command over competitors, market share, and share of customers portfolio, customer retention and loyalty

To assist product Head in Periodic review of sales team, regular customer visits, timely submission visit reports & gathered customers feedback & requirements
To assist product Head to understand and develop application specific grades for value addition to buyers formulation and cost reduction generating brand loyalty To arrange for periodic customer satisfaction survey
Maintain good rapport with customers by visiting them regularly, & sharing new developments Address complaints to quality control and production for investigation & implementation of corrective and preventive action for timely resolution Timely Response to customers

To assist product Head in sharing of information, provide inputs, resource to other functions or teams like BD, Tech, Logistics, as per defined process & agreed timelines and standard to help organization achieve the objectives
To collate market information and assess the market for various information gathered from different sources and inform the same to department and Functional Head
Keeping an eye on various trends in market by regular interaction with the representatives of Co Mfrs, Traders, Dealers, Agents, and Customers
Keeping watch on competitors strategies along with customer activities and provide the information to senior management for necessary action at their end
Meet with customers, competitor, dealers etc and develop relationship to get our customers information

Implementation of the system and processes of handling, packing and transport of material from plant including channel partners to ensure issues related to quality, damage, loses and SHE are minimize and standard norms, legal compliance and business standards and norms are adhered to

Guidelines to stock point support manpower, channel partners & buyers on product handling & storage in accordance with the prescribed guidelines
Explain and train channel partners & buyers on product handling & storage in accordance with the prescribed guidelines
Effective implementation of standard operating system and procedure for handling the product
Co ordination with Govt Departments Fulfilling the statuary requirements

Follow, implement and contribute in an atmosphere of teamwork and trust and in line with Group practices

Adherence to the group values, policies & corporate code of conduct

To ensure development of team members and other miscellaneous work as per guidelines

Qualifications
Experience 12 to 15 years in similar role

Education BSc Chemistry MBA Marketing

Minimum Experience Level
