Job Description:

SDE Geodatabase Creation in oracle, SQL Server database
Database views, spatial views and Multi-Versioned views
ArcSDE Service Creation, management and troubleshooting
Data Migration knowledge
Versioning Designing Versioning workflows, Creation and Management of Versions, Reconcile and Post
Replication All types of replica creation and management
Geodatabase Partial/full compress
Geodatabase Upgrade and service pack implementation
Setting up sdeintercept and database traces to troubleshoot the critical issues
Knowledge in ArcGIS Models and Python scripts to automate the processes
Installation of Oracle, upgrading the database and applying Patches
Performing the capacity planning required to create and maintain the Databases
Monitoring database performance using AWR reports
Configuring redo logs for performance optimization
Administering all database objects, including tables, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools
Users, privileges and roles management
Preparing backup strategies Perform logical & physical backups using export, Data Pump and RMAN backups
