Job Purpose

This position is for senior technical support specialist who will be working on APAC & EMEA time zone This position is responsible for providing E2E technical support and trouble- shooting to Finance business user and operation users for a variety of support areas related to system, queries from business users and data quality issues PROD environments globally Candidates must possess the capability of mentoring, documentation, multi-tasking with minimal supervision, prioritizing activities in a fast paced, dynamic environment and communicating effectively to a diverse client base

Job Background/Context

Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS) is a single platform where Liquidity Oversight team will be able to run various canned and ad hoc reports that are required by Liquidity Reporting based on regulatory and internal oversight requirements The team(s) is providing technical application support to a series of Finance applications, which includes but not limited to Finance Sub Ledger processing, Financial reports, balance sheet, management reports and regulatory reports processing and generation

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for the candidate are

Perform technical operational tasks on routine basis
Trouble shooting issues reported by users and issues self-detected within SLA
Independently resolve all known issues and 80 PERCENT of newly occurred issues, including data investigations
Monitoring and recovery all processes Maintain environment stabilities
Coordinate with Level 3 and Development team on resolving issues in PROD environment and provide feedback
Collect environment improvement points and provide a plan to Development team and application owners
Planning and coordinating release knowledge sharing, migrations, disaster recovery
Documentations & Run book maintenance
Provide knowledge and support training for new team members
Develop support-script and simplify-issue-investigation scripts
Take lead on new implementations and rollouts
Drive the migration process

Knowledge/Experience

9 years of experience in Application support
Minimum 3 years in ETL and Database related projects
Extensive knowledge on Unix Shell/Bash commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, WebSphere, job scheduling tools, system monitoring tools like GENEOS, App Dynamic
Hands on experience in Autosys/Control Centre tool
Strong influencing & interpersonal skills
Willing to work flexible hours

Skills

Excellent leadership and people management skills including off-site teams ability to build team, delegate and mentor others, assist the team in achieving goals
Strong analytic skills
Excellent communication and internal customer management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent facilitation skills
Ability to build relationships at all levels

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline
