Dimensions

This role will focus mainly supporting the IT assets, PO governance and management for Diageo Business Service India location

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and communicate/ influence effectively across different teams including managing internal stakeholders and leadership team
Identify continuous improvement initiatives and provide support and input to improvement projects

Purpose of role

Maintain the IT Asset Register within the CMDB
To be the main focal for IT asset procurement, inventory, and management
Ensure that deliveries against POs are correct and any outstanding or incorrect orders are followed up or escalated
Process Asset Management tasks relating to Starters, Movers and Leavers
Ensure all Configuration Items (CIs) are recorded and relationships are created and maintained from Service to Infrastructure, in order to support key CMDB stakeholders requirement
Process repairs, returns and re-assignment of hardware to our end users ensuring all data is captured accurately
Implementation of policies and standards governing damaged, lost, stolen and replacement of assets
Work with the Finance team to ensure cost allocations are correct and up to date
Manage software licences, avoiding unnecessary spend where possible
Keep up to date with new software products and licence rule changes
Work with the IT Teams on projects concerning configuration of new equipment and disposals
Undertake physical audits and cross reference against the asset register
Record and facilitate stock management, goods in and goods out processing
Coordinate to return the end of life assets to our finance partners & external Vendors
Manage Incident & Service Request Asset tasks in line with SLA and relevant policies
Adhere to policy and workflows, and to suggest operational improvements where possible
Prepare and assist with annual budgetary planning

Top accountabilities

Strategic
a) Accountable for Diageo Business services India IT Assets and PO
b) Establish a Continual Service Improvement (CSI) plan involving stakeholders

Operational

a)Ensure adherence to Diageo processes and compliance requirements related to the services provided
Collaborate / Develop strong working relationships with key customers/stakeholders of the services provided from the centre

b)Monitors processes through to completion, escalating delinquent responses to ensure timely completion of cycles

c)Ensures process documentation playbook is kept up to date;

d)Identifies opportunities for improving the efficiency of the processes, driving automated and standardized solutions

Tactical

a) Participate in relevant governance forums to communicate / review service levels and resolve cross functional challenges
b) Participate in regular service reviews with the asset teams in order to address any process issues, understand future risks and promote continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience required

Demonstratable experience within a similar role
Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail
3 to 5 years of experience of IT Asset management lifecycle processes and tools
Experience of request fulfilment within an ITIL-based organisation
Knowledge of general procurement procedures and policies
Knowledge and exposure to IT hardware such as mobile devices and laptops
Advanced problem-solving skills that can be applied to situations and problem resolution
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong all-round Microsoft Office skills
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
Being an all-round team player, peoples person and able to work in an open fast paced environment
Self-motivated and goal oriented constantly looking to make improvements to drive efficiency
Knowledge of Microsoft Licensing
Previous experience using an incident management/tracking system such as ServiceNow

Education & Technical Skills

Any Accounts Degree or similar from reputed institution
ITIL V3 certification preferred
Advance excel knowledge is preferred
