Function Description Enterprise Digital Demand Generation Purpose of the Role This role will be part of the Prescriptive Marketing Analytics team in American Express This team has specific responsibility for delivering modern media measurement that supports the International Consumer Card Business The incumbent will be responsible for developing next generation marketing attribution models to support marketing strategy across campaign and investment optimization This role requires a strong background in digital technology and analytics trends and exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills Responsibilites Partnering with channel enablement team to identify and onboard user level log file data for each market Partnering with marketing teams to understand and action full funnel measurement outcomes Identify industry proven techniques and algorithm to model the customer journey for accurate credit distribution to different acquisition sub-channel Perform ad-hoc exploratory statistical and data mining analytics Present results of complex analytical problems to business partners, non-technical audience Critical Factors to Success Business Outcomes Develop best in class attribution model to assign credit to the right channel for acquisition and research other fractional attribution techniques used across industries Socialize outputs and approaches with key marketing stakeholders Leadership Outcomes Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings Demonstrate learning agility, make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity Qualifications Past Experience 0-3 years of relevant experience Experience in statistical modelling and understading of digital media marketing is a big plus Academic Background Degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering or finance combined with a master s or other secondary professional qualification Functional Skills/Capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong ability to drive results; self-starter Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Technical Skills/Capabilities Experience in programming languages like Hive, Python etc is a big plus Knowledge of Platforms Experienece working with Big Data Platform is a big plus Behavioral Skills/Capabilities Enterprise Leadership Behaviors Set The Agenda Define What Winning Looks Like, Put Enterprise Thinking First, Lead with an External Perspective Bring Others With You Build the Best Team, Seek & Provide Coaching Feedback, Make Collaboration Essential Do It The Right Way Communicate Frequently, Candidly & Clearly, Make Decisions Quickly & Effectively, Live the Blue Box Values, Great Leadership Demands Courage
