Function Description

- This position will be responsible to drive consumer data strategy across the customer lifecycle through structured and risk based principles to manage and measure data quality, coverage and freshness

- The successful candidate will lead our data strategy for Japa/EMEA markets Candidate will work closely with CFR Capabilities, CFR Risk Strategy teams, Decision Science Modeling and Business partners to manage and govern Third Party data strategy


- The person will be responsible for Bureau data strategy for international market for CFR

- External perspective on competitor bureau data strategy and bench mark with internal strategy

- Continuously monitor coverage/data freshness and identify opportunities for improvement in international markets

- Partner with the Credit and Fraud Risk Capabilities team to build new and transform existing bureau capabilities

- Collaborate with Bureaus and technology partners across geographies to understand E2E processes and highlight improvement areas

- End to end overview of customer life cycle to understand data collected at acquisition Operational practices impacting bureau data

- Periodically update senior leadership on progress on key initiatives

- Agile collaboration with technologies to drive, communicate and validate projects

- Ensure Accuracy & timeliness of E2E consumer bureau processes

- Build data driven insightful analytics to identify opportunities in bureau Processes

Critical Factors to Success

- Be intellectually curious to identify innovative and alternative consumer data for international markets

- Collaborate closely with data providers in JAPA?EMEA markets to enable data usage

- Uncover data assets with the mission of identifying profitable growth opportunities and mitigating losses


Past Experience

- 4+ yrs of relevant work experience with a consistent track record of strong performance

Academic Background

- Should be post graduated from reputed MBA/Tech colleges

Functional Skills/Capabilities

- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and derive solutions

- Knowledge of SQL/SAS/HIVE

- Understanding of credit card industry/Bureau data is a plus

- Understanding of Agile methodology/project management is a plus

Technical Skills/Capabilities

- SAS & Hive

- Understanding of amex capabilities would be a plus

Knowledge of Platforms

- Bigdata & SAS tool
