Alfa Laval India is looking for dynamic Business Unit Manager HSS for Pune location

The purpose of job as below

- Mission is to provide seamless customer experience throughout business/supply cycle for particular BU

- This position is the overall owner for BU HSS business, for Sales Company India, for Capital Sales

- The person will have overall responsibility for P1 (P&L) for BU HSS India

- The position will be responsible for marketing, business development, product management activities and will drive sales through field sales network

- Position shall be responsible for profitable growth of BU HSS in India

The scope of responsibility as below

- Market segmentation, Opportunity tracking and mapping (market intelligence), economy/investment tracking & review and marketing plans

- Competition monitoring, analysis and counter actions

- Pricing decisions

- Training internal and external both

- Developing solutions for customer, proposals and costing

- Product mix development, positioning and promotions

- Contract Reviews for orders, coordinating and monitoring execution and payment

- FG inventory reviews and actions

- Backlog reviews and actions

- Margin reviews and actions

- Resource planning

- Responsible for forecasting process

- Coordination with central BU

- Owner, Preparation and executor of Business Plan

- Coordination with O2C, Operations, Service

- Develop, train and provide necessary support to channels

- Customer claims, decisions on resolutions

- Troubleshooting guidance/ support during life cycle of product (application, product, service, etc)

- Proven track record as Sales Manager or Business manager in capital goods sales

- Working experience in proposals, systems engineering, sales support, etc for capital goods sales

- Customer handling and negotiation exposure is a must for majority of career

- Corporate/work related travelling exposure in India
