This role offers you a unique opportunity with the North American Accident and Health team We are looking for you if you are a hardworking and motivated individual who is keen to be involved in key costing and portfolio management activities aimed at further improving the quality of our diverse product offerings

We seek a recent Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society or Society of Actuaries to join our team Corporate Solutions has a fast-paced environment and if you work here you will help build a major commercial insurance company You will play a key role in designing and shaping the operating platform across the value chain, while improving productivity and processes

You will improve services in the areas of process, costing adjustments, and rate reviews as well as leading technical projects in a robust data and analytical framework

Key Responsibilities Provide support for Employee Stop Loss, Level Funding, and other allied lines
Evaluate network and other adjustment factors
Conduct analyses to improve the rating methods used in these businesses
Collecting information from various sources (internal & external)
Conducting statistical analysis
Collaborating with actuaries
Educating pricing model users on the drivers behind expected loss estimates
Assist with pricing individual accounts
Work with the client management, underwriting, and claims teams to assess growth opportunities and potential profitability
Evaluate portfolio profitability and needed model changes
Assist in building/modifying pricing tools as needed
Update parameters, assumptions, and tools
Provide actuarial information in support of any regulatory requirements
Participate in other analytical projects supporting the actuarial team

About You You should have a high tolerance of ambiguity and a proven record of structuring solutions You should be pragmatic and able to scale ideas into projects We believe in networking and promote a culture of teamwork Our structure is complex and requires autonomy and stakeholder management to be successful You will be interacting with senior partners and your experience in facilitating conversations at all organizational levels is key Being a strong communicator will help you in initiating and orchestrating collaboration, distil and present topics accordingly Organizational skills, adaptability and mental agility are critical success factor You should enjoy problem solving, building up own knowledge and expertise in a topic systematically, gathering facts and building consensus

Requirements University degree with strong statistical education
An Associate of Society of Actuaries or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society preferred
Committed to working towards membership in the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft products
Strong analytical, communication, and business skills
Team-oriented, pro-active, open, and trustworthy; demonstrates collaboration and intercultural competence in own and cross-functional teams; and is action oriented

Desired Programming skills SQL, R, or Python skills preferred
