Role

This role will report directly to the ACH Supervisor and is responsible for customer transaction processing This positions hour will require some holiday coverage This is a great opportunity for candidates with some retail banking experience with a growing team here at Oracle Local candidates only There will be no telecommuting

Responsibilities

Process daily ACH and EFT transactions on behalf of customers of the company
Maintain detailed records of transactions processed
Participate in the ongoing development of an automated system for transaction processing
Work in collaboration with other departments to resolve customer payment, reconciliation and technical issues
Prepare and maintain proper procedural documentation for operating and compliance purposes
Accept other duties as assigned

Desired Experience

Bachelors degree preferred
1 2 years of experience
Understanding of ACH and ACH processing preferred, but not required
1 to 2 years of cash handling and/or previous banking experience
Works well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications
Flexible and adaptable attitude toward work schedule (some holiday coverage required)

Exceptional listening and communication skills - detailed, organized and process-oriented

High attention to detail is necessary Our team processes large volumes of transactions on a daily basis This person much be able to spot errors and pay close attention to the procedures outlined

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives Provides business practices and processes Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures Attention to detail critical Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected Relationship management skills strongly desired Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired 0 - 2 years relevant work experience
