POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title Senior Manager - Procurement - Marketing & Commercial Contracts

Function Procurement

Entity ABI BU INDIA

Location Bangalore, India

Primary Purpose of Role

- The Senior Manager-Procurement works to support the development and execution of category practices for Marketing & Commercial functions including support of sourcing strategy definition, deployment and stakeholder alignment

- With strong category focus the Senior Manager Procurement supports the development and implementation of sourcing projects and interactions between ABI India business stakeholders, ABI India Procurement and the Global Procurement teams

Role Responsibilities

Area of Responsibility Key Elements

1 Commercial Contracting- Lead and look after the overall purchase and spend across Marketing & Commercial functions

2 Budgeting -Continuously monitor and track the forecast vs actual saving and take corrective actions

3 Stakeholder Management -Actively involve and engage with stakeholders for the execution of sourcing projects across Marketing & Commercial functions

Key Relationships

- Internal Supply / Marketing / Finance / Zone category leads / Global Category Buyers

- External Category Suppliers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education level and/ or experience

- Academic background appropriate University/bachelor degree qualification is essential A recognized qualification in procurement would be considered an asset

- Professional experience (around 5-8 years) in the same functional domain or other related positions

Skills and/or knowledge

- Procurement (Sourcing) execution including tendering

- Negotiation, including planning and execution

- Category market knowledge

- IT Capability - data manipulation and analysis skills (Excel etc)

- Provide support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process

- Support preparation of supplier communication packages

- Prepare fact-based negotiation packages, in support of the Zone Category Management in the negotiation process

- Support preparation of implementation plan
